  • 8.8oz Fava
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 40ml olive oil
  • water
  • salt,pepper

Carmelized Onions

  • 2 medium onions
  • 1.5oz Balsamic Glaze
  • 60ml Olive oil

Directions :

  • Chop the onion and grind the carrot
  • In a medium saucepan heat the olive oil and saute the onion and the carrot for 4-5 min
  • Add the fava and continue cooking for 2 min
  • Add the boiled water 1,2-1,4lt
  • cook for 20 min and then cook and stir for the next 20min
  • remove the pan from the fire and use the blender to puree the fava
  • in a different saucepan heat the olive oil and cook slowly the onions to get a dark gold colour
  • add the balsamic glaze and cook it till it will absorb the liquid
  • serve together
